What we collect
When you continue with Apple or Google, we receive a provider-specific account identifier and, when available, your name and email address. We store your Tap & Talk handle, private crew membership, invitations, session records, uploaded video clips, the dated Memories assembled from those clips, and safety records created when you report or block another member.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, enforce private crew membership, store and deliver daily clips, assemble Memories, provide support, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Clips and Memories
Each crew member can upload one video of up to ten seconds per day. Those clips are stored so crew members can play the combined daily Memory. Clips and Memories are not public, but every current member of the crew can view them.
Service providers and transfers
We use infrastructure providers for database and video storage, authentication, media delivery, and website hosting. They process information only to provide those services under their applicable data-protection terms. Processing may occur outside your country with legally recognized safeguards.
Retention and security
Account, crew, clip, and Memory data is retained while your account and crew are active. Expired sessions are removed. We use authenticated access and device-bound secure session storage, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can decline invitations, sign out, replace an unsealed daily clip, and delete your account directly in the app. You can also report clips or members, block another member, and remove someone from a crew you own. Blocking sends a safety report for review and immediately removes that member’s content from your experience. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to processing.
Children
Tap & Talk is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country, without appropriate parental authorization.
